mokie: A skeletal figure with horns (dream stub)
Last night's dream involved the characters from Firefly, engaged in a Star Wars-style chase/running laser blaster shoot-out through a giant ship. Sorry, fellow children of the '80s: I guess I just like my shady smugglers a little more melancholy and a little less nerfherdy.

The characters on the other side of the shoot-out are a little harder to describe. I recognized them in-dream as 'anime fairy things', because all anime characters are fairy things; I don't know if I recognized/said this as a character, a narrator, or audience member, but those exact words were used. What they meant, however, was that the characters were all pointy in style, even though they weren't cartoons in the dream. Like I said, difficult to describe.

Unfortunately, this is all I remember from the dream, which is a damn shame, because I was enjoying it mightily when I was woken up.

About dream/reading tags

y-* tags categorize dreams.

For types: beyond the obvious, there are dreamlets (very short dreams), stubs (fragment/outline of a partially-lost dream), gnatter (residual impression of a lost dream).

For characters: there are roles (characters fitting an archetype), symbols (characters as symbols), and sigils (recurring figures with a significance bigger than a single dream's role/symbolism).

x-* tags categorize books.

Material is categorized primarily by structure, style and setting. If searching for a particular genre, look for the defining features of that genre, e.g. x-form:nonfic:bio, x-style:horror, x-setting:dystopian.
