Posted at Twitter, because it's really too short to post here...

  • Did that Yoplait commercial say "Get rid of the whore"?
  • That's three times now I've tried to read Catcher in the Rye and it's damn near put me into a coma. To hell with it, and its hype.
  • And yet the Assassination Stand on my front lawn never took off. RT @QuantumGood: To Grow a Company, You Need to be Good at Killing Things
  • Just coz you share the same gender/color/political affiliation, it doesn't mean they'll agree with you on every issue. Kudos, Mr. Brown.
  • Please RT: Info about Andrew Koenig, missing 1 week? PLEASE call Vancouver authorities @ 604-717-2967 or 604-717-2534. Case #202029519
  • Gave up rent for lent. Can't wait for eschatological chat with landlord! (Right word for when he calls 'bullshit', isn't it?)
  • Apparently there's a schism in the St. Louis diocese of the Church of Burger. (I believe in the trinity of ketchup, mayo and pickle.)
  • The National Enquirer is up for a Pulitzer. @stltoday, can you get back to proper investigative reporting now?
  • Why do Republicans hate poor women? PP more often provides screening and health care than abortions. bit.ly/9vzyyQ
  • Flame retardant goats! "We aren't going to kill, eat, or even film the lovely goats. They're here for fire prevention." (via @donttrythis)
  • Wait, our genitals need names of power now? I know @james_gunn and his pocket pistol are covered, but what about the rest of us?

"I believe in the trinity of ketchup, mayo and pickle."

Blasphemy!! Everyone knows it's mayo, mustard and worcestershire.

"I've tried to read Catcher in the Rye and it's damn near put me into a coma. To hell with it, and its hype."

I'd say 90% of the books I read in English/Lit qualify too.

oh man, I LOATHED Catcher in the Rye when I had to read it. I never understood why people even liked it. Holden was a whiny bitch.

About dream/reading tags

y-* tags categorize dreams.

For types: beyond the obvious, there are dreamlets (very short dreams), stubs (fragment/outline of a partially-lost dream), gnatter (residual impression of a lost dream).

For characters: there are roles (characters fitting an archetype), symbols (characters as symbols), and sigils (recurring figures with a significance bigger than a single dream's role/symbolism).

x-* tags categorize books.

Material is categorized primarily by structure, style and setting. If searching for a particular genre, look for the defining features of that genre, e.g. x-form:nonfic:bio, x-style:horror, x-setting:dystopian.
