I picked four--four!--big colanders full of grapes off the concord vine before we started cutting it back for the season. The vine was huge, had consumed three milkweed vines and possibly a neighbor's cat, and even after cutting it back, we've still got a big bush the size of two people, loaded with clusters waiting to finish ripening.
Whew.
Four big colanders! That's even with the rabbits, and birds, and the old man across the alley who always asks after their status and I suspect helped himself to the first ripe clusters. (One day I have gorgeous purple clusters all over, the next only green? Hrm.) Even taking into account the amount of green grapes that came along for the ride, that's still a whole lot of grapes.
And between the cranky broken fridge that doesn't want to keep cool properly, and the limitations of my own belly (I can't help it! They make me poop!), most of it went in the trash after less than a week. Dammit! I need to research jamming and pickling. Can one pickle grapes? Let's find out before next year!

#1. This contains soy, peanut and tree nut oils, three big food allergens. I know some folks with those allergies react to physical contact as well as ingestion, so it's something that you might need to consider. (Eg. I work with a peanut-allergic individual, so I won't be applying it before I head off to work.)
#2. This hasn't been tested yet. I've had success before using oils to treat and moisturize my flaky face and dry hair, but this is a new formula based on research rather than past experimentation. If it does nothing else, though, it should make for a great moisturizer. ;)
#3. This is phase one! I have two formula changes planned, to test possible additional ingredients (or alternates), and I might alter the proportions of this mix depending on the results and feedback. You're not obligated to try them all, but if you want, I will happily be your smoove supply!
