Stuff posted today at Twitter, because I'm too disorganized to post it here:

  • Watching "The Lake House" and thinking Keanur should only ever be work with Sandra Bullock. Also, that I need to find the remote.
  • Eyjafjallajökull, pronounced Ay-ava-lavik? I think Iceland's messing with us.
  • Day 2 of homemade deodorant test: still unstinky, skin's smooth and unitchy, underarm hair is soft and manageable!
  • Idea: primer bomb. Set cannister in floor, pull pin, leave room. PFOOM! and wait for primer to dry.
  • Good article, bad comments, about food deserts and a new co-op in #STL. bit.ly/baxD11 (via @patricialicious)
  • You can tell who's never been carless; they're the first to scoff at others' transportation woes.
  • Every time I reach up to block a sneeze, I smell the last soap I worked tonight--bitter orange & orchid. Achoo! Mmm. Achoo! Mmm.
  • John Ritter's loveable space that needs your face: bit.ly/9ldYzO
  • HGTV Dream House/Green House: taunting you with prizes you wouldn't be able to afford to keep anyway!
  • Thanks to Dave Chappelle, every time I see Lil Jon on TV, I expect sociopolitical commentary.
  • Started to say to someone, "White people love Dave Chappelle because," and realized it came with its own punchline.
  • Lisa Lampanelli on Comedy Central. When does she stop yelling "HEY! THERE'S A BLACK GUY! AND A FAG!" at the audience and, y'know, get funny?
  • Yelling racial slurs at strangers is comedy. All this time I've been taking the Tea Party seriously!
  • Host of Animal Planet's "River Monsters" sounds just like Garth Marenghi. Right now he's hunting pirahna in his dark place...
  • ATTN Downtown #STL: you already HAVE a farmer's market. Maybe you haven't heard of it--Soulard?

About dream/reading tags

y-* tags categorize dreams.

For types: beyond the obvious, there are dreamlets (very short dreams), stubs (fragment/outline of a partially-lost dream), gnatter (residual impression of a lost dream).

For characters: there are roles (characters fitting an archetype), symbols (characters as symbols), and sigils (recurring figures with a significance bigger than a single dream's role/symbolism).

x-* tags categorize books.

Material is categorized primarily by structure, style and setting. If searching for a particular genre, look for the defining features of that genre, e.g. x-form:nonfic:bio, x-style:horror, x-setting:dystopian.
